Video Games Daily (originally Kikizo) is run by veteran gamers and dates back to 1998.
The site obsessively delivers news, reviews, features and market leading interviews with the industry's biggest names - it's currently the only consumer gaming site in the world to have sat down with all three platforms' global bosses: Satoru Iwata, Kaz Hirai & Robbie Bach.
It was one of the first sites to take the Japanese market seriously, developing relationships in the nineties that continue to produce some of the most exclusive access in the territory today - for example, the only interview Yu Suzuki has done with any western media in the last five years.
The 2009 rebranding to Video Games Daily marks the site's most exciting transformation to date.
